📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on commercial trucks using tools such as diagnostic scanners, wrenches, and other specialized equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as those set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for our trucks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including parts replaced and hours worked.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in truck technology and maintenance practices.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics to ensure the continued high quality of work.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on commercial trucks.
• Certification as an ASE Master Technician or equivalent, preferably in the area of heavy-duty vehicles.
• Thorough knowledge of truck systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software, such as Snap-on or Tekscan.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and management systems, such as FleetMatics or Geotab.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) if required.
